Basic Delivery (Domestic)

Our highly redundant content management and delivery infrastructure is divided into two basic configurations, Core Storage+Delivery and the Flixn Delivery Network. Core Storage+Delivery, which is standard on all Flixn Media Platform account levels, uses strategically-placed server clusters located within the United States from which to store and serve content. Customer content is mirrored across all three locations using our proprietary asynchronous large object messaging bus.

Each of our three primary datacenters, located in Dallas, Texas, Seattle, Washington, and Washington, D.C., feature private 10 gigabit interconnects to the other two. This architecture ensures that every client receives the utmost in reliability and excellent domestic performance for all of their media assets.

Datacenter 1: INFOMART, Dallas, TX

Flixn's primary datacenter is inside the INFOMART telecom hotel near downtown Dallas. A private, Tier IV, N+1 facility, INFOMART is home to such companies as MCI, Verio, Verizon, Level 3, and Equinix. It sits atop three redundant TXU electrical grids with five on-site 100-ton water chillers meeting N+1 cooling standards.

Facts about Dallas datacenter
  • 6000amps 480v input power
  • 6 x 750 Kva UPS battery backups
  • 3 x 2000Kw diesel generator with on-site fuel storage
  • Redundant Liebert 30-ton HVAC units
  • Pre-action dry pipe fire suppression
  • Proximity security badge access
  • Digital video security

Datacenter 2: Sabey, Seattle, WA

Our western datacenter is located at Sabey's Intergate.Seattle campus in Tukwila, Washington. Located outside the Seattle fault and liquefaction zones, the facility is designed and constructed to withstand a seismic event while ensuring business functions are uninterrupted. On-site are 45 generators with 500,000 gallons of fuel in storage, which back up the existing 55MW of existing electrical capacity in case of an emergency. The campus has connectivity through Seattle's robust fiber optic loops, and employs a carrier vault system supported by more than 50 miles of embedded, secure conduits.

Facts about Seattle datacenter
  • 2000amps 480v input power
  • 4 x 500Kva UPS battery backups
  • 2000 Kw diesel generator with on-site fuel storage
  • Redundant Liebert 30-ton HVAC units
  • Pre-action dry pipe fire suppression
  • Biometric security system with proximity badge access
  • Digital video security system

Datacenter 3: 365 Main, Washington, D.C.

Located in Chantilly, Virginia, our East Coast facility is home to datacenters belonging to AT&T and Verizon Business, and has redundant power from two Dominion Virginia power grids. On-site are three 600-ton cooling towers which are fully N+1 compliant.

Facts about D.C. datacenter
